Montana (June 2010)

Our trip, overall, was pretty enjoyable and very beautiful, as you can see from the pictures. Will did well with less sleep than usual (as did we), and he didn't have any potty accidents...unless you count that one time he was locked out of the bathroom at the motel. He also loved (as did we) spending time with all of our extended family, especially Uncle Hal. He wasn't very fond of the dogs, however, that attended the wedding, but he survived. We ate lots of good food...hamburgers and pizza mainly...and stayed in two really nice hotels. Another highlight for us was that Missoula had a Cracker Barrell. So, we all filled up on a Southern breakfast the morning of the wedding. YUMMERS!!

The most beautiful part of the trip was seeing Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, The Colombia River Gorge, and the snow-capped mountains of Montana. It was all so breath-taking. I was reminded of how creative and awesome our God is, b/c He made it all. And I can't imagine how much more beautiful and awesome He is!!!!

My favorite times of the trip was getting to spend some intimate time with my Mom's family. On several occasions we got to eat, talk, and even play at a park with them. That was special. Being at a wedding with so many people we didn't know was a little uncomfortable, but they went out of their way to make sure that we were able to spend some quality time with them!

We are looking forward to another road trip soon...but maybe not as far!!
