growing together

So Lauren has 4 more months until she is one. Wow! Some of the things she is doing:
-eating lots of baby food and small pieces of big girl food,
-crawling,
-pulling up,
-laughing,
-sticking like glue to Mommy,
-exploring "no-nos,"
-winning everyone's heart with her smile,
-drinking out of a sippy cup,
-annoying her big brother,
-loving bath time,
-trying to pick up cheerios with her fingers and put them in her mouth,
-sucking her thumb constantly, and
-learning so quickly.
She is growing so fast.

Will is doing well, too. He is enjoying is big back yard and plastic swimming pool. Church is fun for him as well. He comes home singing songs about Jesus! His interest in school is beginning to show. I went to the school store to pick up some early learning materials to help him learn some basics. He still has a couple years before Kindergarden, though. His sister frustrates him, b/c she likes to put his toys in her mouth. He has even lashed out at her. This too, shall pass, right?? Will and Daddy love to spend their weekends together doing projects.

Mommy and Daddy just celebrated 9 years this week. We went down to the Riverwalk, had some awesome food, and heard some great jazz. J is staying busy at work and hopes to learn alot at this firm. I am staying busy with the kiddos at home. We are starting a new Ladies Bible Study at church this week, so I am hoping to make some more connections and little friends for Will. God is good and so faithful.
