I am now 28 weeks with 12 or less weeks to go...hopefully not more. It is getting more and more difficult to get around, and I feel completely exhausted most of the afternoon and evening. I try to rest as much as possible. Everything seems to be going well. Lauren is kicking away. I won't see my NP for another week.
Here are some photos from the last month or so. Jeremy finished his last test, and we are still awaiting the results...staying confident! The day after he finished we headed north to Sacramento for the weekend to get away. We stayed at a nice, little hotel and spent most of our time at the Train Museum downtown. Will was in heaven! We saw all of the big trains and got to climb on a few. They also have a small area set up where the kids can play with Thomas trains. The last day we went on a train ride which is included in the membership we ended up getting. What a blast! Then, on the way back, we hitched a ride on a horse-drawn-carriage ride for a few minutes. Will loved that, too, since he's so into horses and cowboys lately. The first night we had dinner at a Cajun seafood place on the river, which was outstanding! But the best was going to one of our favorite places...Macaroni Grill. We used to go there all the time in Corpus, but now they are hard to come by unless we make a special trip. And boy was it worth it! YUMMERS!! We had a great time just spending some quality time together as a family. That too has been hard to come by, since J has had to spend so much time studying. Hopefully, though, that chapter is over, and we can start doing this sort of thing more often.
A few days later, Grandma and Grandpa came for a few days. We did a bunch of planning (aka shopping) for Lauren and playing with Will at home and at the park. It was a fun time!
