Happy Father's Day Daddy!

This past week has been rather eventful for us. Jeremy and I both got burnt out on our studying and schooling and decided to recommit ourselves to "push each other through" the CPA exam and the last summer class. He is on his way to being ready for his first exam in mid-August, and I am finished with almost half of the work for my Mark class. That is exciting!

Our Father's Day weekend was a blast! We started out Friday night with pizza, and then we went downtown to our weekly, outdoor, summer concerts in Napa. Those of you that live in Southern regions of the country could not fathom that, but I had my jacket on by the time we got ready to leave!!! We finished the night out with Daddy's favorite icecream...chocolate with peanut butter cups!! Saturday morning we woke up, had breakfast, and went downtown to a fun toy store. Surprisingly, we didn't buy a thing, but we got some good birthday ideas for November. I wanted to take Will to the fire fighter museum, but they were closed. He loves trucks; the bigger the better!!! After nap, Jeremy decided he wanted to cook burgers on the grill. And yes we used real meat this time...no veggie burgers...believe it or not!! They were yummy! While the burgers were cooking, the boys planted some flowers in the backyard. Will was in heaven...digging in the dirt! Sunday we had doughnuts and Starbucks for breakfast and then atteneded church at local place down the street. We've been three times and really like it. Lunch was a crock pot deal and was really yummy. Naptime was study time for us both. When Will woke up, we went down to the Napa airport to show Will the planes. However, we were not aware that there would be 40 private jets on the runway. It was NASCAR weekend in Sonoma, and the drivers and owners were all on their way back to the airport so they could take their private planes home. Having a toddler, we had no idea this was happening. The guy directing traffic probably thought we were trying to see a star, but we really were just showing our son the planes, and he loved it! Afterwards, we went to get some local Mexican food...yummy fajitas! We had to go to the park afterwards to run around b/c we were stuffed. It was a great weekend of family time together. We honestly don't do this often enough...


Anyway...happy father's day to the best Daddy and husband in the world. We love you and are so proud of you.
