So Lauren is 7 months now. She is scooting around on her tummy and has even made a few moves up on all fours. We will be having crawling races before we know it! She has also begun to pull herself up. Her sleeping has improved tremendously since we got to TX, too. Unfortunately, that means we don't have much time during the day to get out, so I have to have a plan and be ready for her awake time. One of our favorite pass times lately is going to Toys R Us. Will just loves going there to browse. We sometimes go to the library, too.
Another thing we seem to be doing alot of is going to any and EVERY doctor. I have had chiropractic appointments 2-3 times a week to try to help with my back trouble. And I'm really hoping this guy is going to help me get better. Three years is long enough. Lauren has also been to the doctor for check-ups and to get fitted for her helmet, which she received today...pic will come soon.

Lauren is signing "more" in this picture. She loves to eat; that's for sure. I need to start teaching her some more signs. We are working on "all done." She really makes the cutest little sounds and has started to experiment with "da," "bu," and "ma."

We were quickly reminded of the heat in TX when we arrived. It wasn't long after that we purchased a pool for Will. Fortunately, our house provides a nice shade in the evening, since it faces west.
Our sweet friends, who are missionaries in Asia, came to town a few weeks ago. We just could not pass up the chance to visit with them. It has been 3.5 years since we saw them at seminary. Our time together was such a blessing. It was so great for their fam to treat us as their own. One thing I can say about them is they know how to eat.
There was a pretty big shindig put on for these fine folks up at Lake Travis before they had to return to Asia. The house it was held at was amazing, and the owners allowed some of us to ride on their pontoon boat. One of the passengers was Will. This was his first boat ride, and I'm pretty sure he thoroughly enjoyed it!
Finally, Will has been really in need of some amigos. Elijah was his buddy this weekend, and they got along so well. We are hoping to find some folks that live a little closer though that he can befriend. We have found a church that seems to be a keeper. Stay tuned for news on that!
That's all folks!
